The Calm Before The Storm

This was the first weekend in a long time that i was able to stay home for BOTH days.. which was good because.. ( i know i've probably said this before but..) this will be the busiest month of my life..

finally the dream has been realized.. i will be 2nd A.D. for the next movie of Direk.. and i'm really excited.. he hasn't done a movie since the filmfest of last year so he's pretty eager to get back in the game himself.. it'll be a horror flick.. and from the first drafts of the treatment it looks pretty promising.. very pinoy BUT without the cheese that goes with it.. it wont be shake rattle and roll, i promise you that.. hehehe

So i guess in the end.. the gamble paid off.. but was it worth it?

i dunno.. maybe.. maybe not..

but it's something that i know for a fact that i need to find out for myself..

MY SPACE

if anyone is a member, you can add me up.. http://profiles.myspace.com/users/1097087
pretty cool.. lots more options than Friendster.. but i'll prolly never use em hehe...

i didn't wanna sign up in friendster before.. i always found it kinda corny.. chuck and grace were very kulit about it even.. eventually i did.. well.. my ex took the liberty of signing me up.. then thats when i saw why it was so popular.. i didn't sign up so much to meet people, but i was able to get in touch with friends i had lost touch with for TEN YEARS... i thought that to be truly amazing.. so for all its "kabaduyan" and all that.. to me, friendster proved its worth..

wanna add me? hehe

The Question

"I'm gonna ask you a question.. and it's a good one okay? So think about it.. When two people love each other.. REALLY love each other.. but they just can't seem to get it together.. When do you get to that point where enough is enough?"

"Never."

- The Mexican (2001)

Do you believe that? I do. Or at least.. I used to. After watching the movie "The Mexican", that was the resounding question that rang through my mind. I think anyone who has ever been in a relationship has asked themselves that very question at one point or another. How much is a person actually supposed to endure? Who determines if its not working anymore?

I used to believe in the "love will conquer all" philosophy.. "If its meant to be, its meant to be.." & and all those other quotes people send through the cell phone.. Then it bit me in the butt. I've gotten burnt by love so badly.. That I doubt I'd ever feel that same way about a woman ever again.. Which is sad because that's something I was really proud of.. There aren't very many things I'm very good at.. I suck at math. I cant draw. I don't dance. But there's one thing I know for sure...

Loving her is something I know I did right.

I did it truly, and purely.. I gave everything I had.. Sure, I know it wasn't perfect, but I also know that I wasn't all that horrible either.. and that is why when I lost her the first time, I felt lost.. I didn't know who or what I was supposed to be anymore.. Now that its over, I'd be lying if I didn't say.. That not a day goes by since we separated that I do not think of her.

that's right. I still think about her. Everyday. I wonder what she's doing.. If she has enough to eat.. If she gets home safely.. Those little things that made my day complete when I find out she's ok.. Yes, I do miss her dearly..

But what's done is done.

Some words when spoken...Can't be taken back...

I would describe the way I handle the first break up.. Much like a kid who wanted to go play, but his mother wouldn't let him, until he cleaned his room. Instead of placing his toys neatly into his shelves, he stuffed everything into his closet, without bothering to sort it out. With much effort, he was able to shut the door, locking away all his mess. Then after awhile, once that door is opened again, everything just came bursting out, leaving the little boy in a pile of toys to sort out. That is what happened to me. I said I had to get her back, and deal with the ramifications later. The thing is, when it was time to face the problems.. Even when I had her already.. It was too difficult to sort out.. I didn't know where to begin.

He Who Forgets, Will Be Destined To Remember..

Where do I go from here? Well.. I'm not all lost.. I don't want to come off as a victim or anything.. In fact, the truth is, I'm enjoying how my life is going now.. but is it the same? No. Nowhere near the VICINITY of the term "The same". Is it bad? Not at all.. Just different..

But am I truly happy?

Now THAT'S the question.

He Who Must Not Be Named is.....

Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire looks to be another blockbuster for Warner brothers.. and i'm really excited about it.. the role of Valdemort is extremely crucial.. thats why i went bonkers when i found out this morning that the role went to.. none other than Ralph Feinnes!!!!! In my previous posts, i mention him as someone perfect to play Sirius Black.. but now that i think about it.. he'd an even better VALDEMORT!

i cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking of the Dark Knight...

I saw the teaser trailer of "Batman Begins" last week.. and it looks pretty impressive.. i've always liked teasers that dont give out too much.. or catches you by surprise.. you hear Christian Bale speaking.. i dont even wanna try to remember what he said cuz it would end up sounding lame.. but you do seem Batman.. for a split second flash.. and i think it was just enough to raise some goosebumps..

For me, the best teaser trailer would have to be the first Spiderman teaser.. its a shame they had to stop airing it after 9/11.. i was in the movie theater when it showed.. i think during the showing of Final Fantasy (UGH.. 100 bucks i'll never see again) when that trailer went on.. starting with the bank heist.. no one knew what was going on.. seemed like another action movie.. then the moment the words "This Summer" (I love it when they say that) you heard the bass line from the song they used, "I wanna take you on a roller coaster" and the webslinger came into view, the whole movie house errupted into a roar! those geeks in the front row were like.. "Pants... meet shit!"

Second place would go to the teaser of the Hulk.. the line was classic.. "when i can't fight it anymore.. when i totally lose control.. I like it." Then see him transform only through his eyes.. then the sink smashes through the house.. too bad the movie didn't live up to expectations.. i mean.. Hulk was cool and all.. but a Killer Poodle as one of the villians? you gotta be kidding me!

Shaken, Not Stirred

Speaking of Bana.. Eric Bana... hehe.. He just recently got signed up as the New James Bond.. he's an extremely gifted actor, as his performances in Black Hawk Down, Hulk and Troy has proven.. and i'm pretty sure he'll pull off the legendary secret agent of her Majesty's Secret Service.. i'm glad they didnt go with the "Orlando Bloom as a young 007" idea.. supposedly during his teen years.. sounds corny..

The Book Worm

One of my New Year's Resolutions this year was to read more.. you see, i've never been much of a reader.. (pretty ironic for someone who likes to write, dontcha think?) Ok, i've read the all ten installments of the Belgariad and Mallorean series by David Eddings.. as well as the sequels it spawned afterwards, "Belgarath The Sorcerer " and " Polgara The Sorceress ".. And i managed to read the first two books of "The Lord of the Rings", not to mention all five books of Harry Potter.. And i gotta say, two of the coolest, and most underrated books i've ever read has been "I Am Legend" by Richard Matheson, and "The List of Seven" by Mark Frost. Both seriously kick ass..

Anyway, I took a look at the first two New Year's resolutions i drew up..

1. Lose Weight
2. Read more

Making sure i fulfill at least ONE.. i decided to go with the more attainable choice..
One my way home, i passed by "A Different Bookstore" in Eastwood.. (and yes, i passed by Haggen Daz too.. effectively diminishing any chance i might have had of fulfilling resolution #1)

Being that i hadn't read a book since "Order of the Phoenix", and the "Half Blood Prince" didn't have a release date yet, i decided to go for something along those lines.. i had read in CNN about a book that they reviewed to be comparable to Potter.. but i couldn't seem to find it anywhere here in the Philippines.. fortunately, A Different Bookstore lived up to its name, and i walked out with a copy of "The Thief Lord" by Cornelia Funke.

It was quite good, however it was dwarfed by the Juggernaut that is Harry Potter.. (an unfair comparison though, because they dont have very much in common) so when i was done, i was looking for something else to whet my newly found appetite for literature. Proud that for the first time in ages i was able to read something that didn't bear the initials " F", "H" and "M" on the cover, i headed back to "A Different Bookstore".

I browsed around, looking for something that would captivate me.. something that i would totally be engrossed with.. since i hadn't read a book that kept me mesmerized in a long time..

Then i bought the Da Vinci Code.

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown is by far one of the BEST books i have ever read. Every page had my heart pounding.. and Dan Brown knows exactly when to end the chapter, leaving you hanging on the edge of your seat.. the revelations the book made, were simply astonishing.. even if it were just fiction.. you can tell the man went through great lengths to make this novel a masterpiece.. in tagalog.. "Kinareer".. hehe

Now i'm at a loss.. i dont know what to read next.. what can top this?

sigh.. any suggestions?

HOW YOU DOINNNNNN??

I Finally got to watch the pilot episode of the much awaited spin off from "Friends".. AND I WAS NOT DISSAPOINTED!

Of course i'm biased, cuz i'm a huge fan of Friends.. (i even have the trivia game.. yes i'm a dork, i know) but still.. the pilot of "Joey" proved that Mr. Tribiani can hold a show on his own..

I'll be the first to admit that the chemistry of the cast isn't as tight... yet.. but what do you expect from the first episode, right?  Save for the girl playing Joey's love interest, Ashley Scott (Huntress on "Birds of Prey").. i found the characters of Drea de Matteo (Sopranos) who plays Joey's sister, and Paulo Constanzo (Road Trip), who plays her son, quite promising.. they both seemed to play off Matt Le Blanc really well.. The episode had moments where we were nearly on the floor cracking up.. i'm looking forward to seeing the whole season.. we'll find out Joey fares without his old "Friends" when the show premieres this September..

all i can say is that.. me? i'm sold!

P.S.

Here Comes The SpiderMan

I've been really busy for the past few weeks- hhmm.. does every one of my posts start with that line?

anyway.. i've been really busy for the past few weeks.. managed to finish the big anniversary show of Air Force One, as well as a concert in Music Museum.. both were quite well received so i can say i got through it alive.. but barely..

technically, with only one project (so far)allotted to me this month, not to mention the fact that we got another person adept at the field of production management (Thank god), my load is much lighter..

as the lovely Kookaii graciously pointed out.. i have been remiss in my posting.. i knew from the start that i wouldn't have the time to post the way i used to.. but i never thought i'd be this delayed..

my only free day is sunday.. and i've been able to catch up on some films from my previous post.. i've seen HellBoy (ok), The Day After Tomorrow (ho hum), Troy (so-so), Shrek 2 (Hilarious!) Starsky & Hutch (nah),
Kill Bill 2 (good, but the First one was much Better), among others..

I've seen a few episodes of "Queer Eye for the straight guy", and i loved it.. its hilarious.. for those of you who dont know what it is, its a reality show, where five gay men who specialize in five different fields... (Fashion, grooming, food and wine, home and decor, arts and culture) take this average joe who wrote in, and give him a full makeover, much to the delight of his significant other.. hehe.. they take these guys that look like Yeti's and turn them into super studs.. they even go as far as remodel their house.. the amazing thing about it is that they do it all in one day.. the results are fun to watch.. check it out when you get the chance..

I was really stoked to hear about the coming of the 6th book of Harry Potter.. which will be titled "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince" ... No news about when its coming out, but just hearing the title brings chills up my spine.. i've also been hearing rumours about Ralph Fiennes playing Valdermort.. i think he would've been a great Sirius Black, but he's so kick ass, he'd be a great Valdemort..

About Prisoner of Azkhaban.. i didn't hate it the way chucky did.. but it wasn't as Kick Ass as i had hoped it would've been.. for me, the most glaring thing that i didnt like about it, was Dumbledore.. i dont think anyone could ever beat the late, great, Richard Harris in my book..

Anyway, i hope to be able to post again this weekend.. i hope this clears the cobwebs a little bit.. speaking of which... i'm watching spiderman on sunday!!

woohohohohohohoooooo!

Angel

Like an Angel.. Fly over your house..
Like an Angel.. Pass out wishes..
Like an Angel.. I will move the arrow..
Like an Angel.. I live alone

Im not living what was promised
I am close but cant enjoy
Im not dying
Im so tortured

Because I see all
Tortured.. and all I cannot do
Tortured.. all I should have done
Tortured.. while I occupied a man

Im not living what was promised
I am far from glorified
Im not dying
Im not alone

The Mind is not a celestial state
With idle hymns of praise
Time is short, I have an appointment at noon..
At noon in hell
Across the waste of space and fields of air
I glide, alone at night

Oh please, please think of me
Because im.. Im by your side
Im by your side..
Im right in front of you

Im by your side...

Busy Bee Watch the world Go By...

So i've managed to squeeze in some time to blog.. we just finished two shows.. the Troy Montero Dickies Exposed fashion show and the Maricar De Mesa "In Bloom" Show at Air Force One.. we dont have a project until the second week of june.. so i'll be kinda free for a bit..

I haven't seen a movie in ages.. i think the last one i actually saw was "Something's gotta Give"... Haven't seen Hell Boy.. Passion of the Christ.. Van Helsing.. Shrek 2.. Troy.. The Day After Tomorrow.. Harry Potter..

Nada.

and i call myself a "Film Buff".

I loathe Myself.

Have You Ever Danced With The Devil In The Pale MoonLight?

Pretend you had a chance to make money. An absurd amount. However, the person you'd be dealing with.. is someone that you know you dont like. in fact, you detest everything about him. you dont like the way he treats people.. particularly women..

But this person has the power to make your dreams come true. he can offer you the keys to the gates of heaven.. you want it badly.. but you know you wont feel good about yourself.. yet you're unsure why. he never did anything to you.. directly..
but the mere thought of him fuels this burning rage inside of you.. what would you do? Dealing with him would not result in anything immoral or illegal.. so whats the big deal, right?

ah.. well.. stay tuned..

The Road Worthy Man

I love my job. I really do. i'm not being sarcastic or anything like that.. or rubbing in the fact that i have a job that practically every straight man in this country would kill for. apart from directing films or commercials.. i seriously cannot think of anything else i'd rather be doing.

The only part of my job that i dislike, is when i am made to be one of the artists' road manager. i really really dont like it. again, many a alpha male would be envious of having to take Maui Taylor or Aubrey Miles out of town for a show.. but i seriously despise it. Take note, i stress "IT" Not them... All the artists we handle are quite nice.. i've only had a few run-ins with them having a "primadonna" attitude once or twice.. but nothing really out of this world that i couldn't handle.

Its just the thought that i have so much to do in the office.. i have to drop it to go out of town to just.. well.. sit on my ass and watch the artist do whatever he or she needs to do.. i didnt spend six years in college to become someone's glorified yaya...

umm.. i dont think im supposed to be proud of the "six years in college" part hehe

By Land, Sea & Air

Last friday, After going to Batangas with Aubrey for a campaign motorcade from 3pm-9pm.. six hours on a "float".. (and i use the term "float" lightly... it was more like a Kariton with a motor in it) we went straight to Laguna where she performed one song.. we got back to civilization by around midnight.. after that... i thought my days as a road manager had come to and end because we have so much deadlines to meet.. apparently i was wrong..

On May 5, we had a show for Maui at Classmates.. was a good show.. her boob popped out of her top only once so that's gotta be a record.... we ended around 2pm.. unfortunately for me, i live in antipolo.. so i got home around 3.. from there, i packed my bags, and headed straight to the airport, where i met up with Troy Montero. We left for cebu at 7 am.. then from cebu, we left for leyte by boat at 11am.. we got to leyte at 1pm.. then had an hour long road trip to whatever town it was called.. rested from 3 pm to 4 pm, then we headed off to the gym for the rally.. where troy was the surprise guest of the governor.. we were there till about midnight.. left at 5 am for the port.. left for cebu at 8.. got there around 10.. was in mactan airport by 11.. left by 12.. got to manila by 1:30 or so..

Man, i'm getting tired just reading the sked again..

Mr. Cellophane

I've acted as road manager a few times already, and i've noticed that the person that gets the wildest reaction from the crowd, isn't Maui or Aubrey.. it isn't even Ara. its actually Troy that gets the crowd going insane.. and as living proof that life is not fair, they assign ME to act as his "bodyguard". (picture Danny De Vito hired as the body guard for Arnold Schwarzeneger.. makes sense? i didnt think so!) Lo and behold, I got trampled on by screaming horde of 13 year old girls.. sniff.. those tiny fists of fury still haunts me to this very day.. its not funny.. coulda happened to anyone..

Troy in real life, is a very nice guy.. nothing to complain about.. he's nice.. courteous to everyone.. accomodating to all his fans.. and the girls just die for him.. so in short, yes, i hate the man.. hehehe..

I'm kidding.. we get along well.. but the only problem is that.. when we go around and stuff.. i've never felt so ugly in my whole life.. its like people.. well.. women in particular.. dont realize that i exist! and you know what? i dont need help giving women reasons to not realize i exist.. i think i've done an excellent job on , thank you very much!

ok.. AGAIN, i dont think i was supposed to be proud of that.. hehe

Mister cellophane
Should have been my name
Mister cellophane
'cause you can look right through me
walk right by me
And never know I'm there. . .

SOMEONE HATES ME!

I got my first hate text this week.. and it said..

"Ashole!"

Mildly amused, i decided to text back " its spelled "Asshole".. get it right next time.. ASSHOLE"

the texter replied, " HAHA, i lyk like that. keep it up! take care always!"

Not to be out done, i replied as politely as i could.. " speak in tagalog nalang cuz your english confuses me. anyway, i will always take care, thanks.."

the texter then answered back, " funny k h! Okay lets see wat happen! cute mo tlaga!bye :)"

after that, i would've let it go.. but apparently i found out that the same number was also texting another friend of mine.. saying really awful stuff.. and the texter seemed to know who i was.. and what was weirder was, the texter seemed to be a girl.. but then as i think back, considering she said "cute mo talaga", i was kinda relieved hehe..

so then i invited her to my office told her to come on down and that i was waiting.. she replied asking why i'm so mad and stuff.. i said i wasn't mad at all.. i just found this texting childish.. if she has anything to say she can say it to my face.. so i said...

" come on i'll just be here. dont be shy. kung wala ka pang commute, sabihin mo lang sa akin. ako na magbabayad.. bilis habang may jeep pa! ;)"

sadly after that, my texter did not reply.. hasn't replied since.. think i hit a soft spot? hehe dunno.. dont care

who is it, you ask? i'm not sure.. i called up my ex to ask if it was her.. and she had no idea what i was talking about.. and i believe her.. it was someone who obviously did not speak english as a first language..

i kinda do know who it is.. some girl who got busted by her girlfriend cuz of something i said to someone.. long story.. she was having an affair with this girl online.. they met up.. girl meets girl.. one thing led to another.. girl's girlfriend goes out of town.. blah blah.. hehe

in a way, i'm kinda flattered that someone would go out of their way to buy a sim just to cuss me out.. kinda touching ain't it? in some sick, demented way.. sniff.. i feel so special.. hehe...

in case you're curious to find out, her number is 09172744478

ONE XKWZT EXPERIENCE

I met up with XKWZT last week.. marking the first time i met from someone from bloggerville.. we talked about possible tie ups between her company and mine.. many possibilities... i'm most proud of the fact that i managed to meet up with her, without charm or kooks to hide behind.. hehe.. so who's next? Celine? Lauren? Clare? Toes? hehe
The Walking Bullseye

Had a really tough week.. for the first time in seven months working in the office, i actually thought of quitting.. for some odd reason, with both my bosses out of the country, i've become resident scapegoat.. i got blamed for everything fromt the fax machine breaking down, to why the assistant road manager could not get a taxi cab.. cool huh? oh well.. such is life..

anyway.. no more work talk...

A week ago today, i was in Enchated Kingdom.. i was given four free tickets last year when i was working for my cousin's paper, and it had to be used by May so i decided to go with my family.. i hadn't been there in years, so i was looking forward to it.. apart from getting away from work.. i was actually kinda worried about how the place would look after all these years.. was thinking that maybe it was poorly maintained.. no people.. stuff like that.. i was pleasantly surprised to find out i was wrong.. the place is still quite remarkable.. i love the Rio Grande ride, even though i did get drenched.. hehe..

before the night ended, we went to the arcade that was virtually empty.. me, my bro and Louie headed for those cheesey carnival games.. the ring toss, the milk can shoot, the basketball ring, and the big mouth clown game.. and all of a sudden, people wanted in on it too.. i swear i should've charged commission hehe.. i guess, in typical filipino fashion, they were afraid to look silly playing those games, then all of a sudden, in comes three guys, who could make a living on looking silly, and all of a sudden it wasn't so bad.. hehe..

the only thing that pissed me off was that i was too late for the caramel apples.. i got there 10 mins too late.. sniff..

all in all it was fun.. i think i need days like these to help me get through the week..

Out of My System

You know things have become sad in Sanity Lane, when i dont post in two weeks, and when i do, all i talk about is work.. its pretty hard when you work in a field that completely sucks you in.. ah.. well.. enough of that.. i will try not to write anything about work anymore.. except for free plugs of course hehe.. anyways.. no more excuses..

I saw the trailer to The Terminal! it looks so good.. Tom Hanks in what seems to be yet another stand out performance! lets face it.. the man could've starred in "Police Academy 4: Citizens On Patrol" and he would've found a way to bring you to tears.. throw in Steven Spielberg as the director, and Catherine Zeta Jones as the requisite Eye Candy, and you got a hit! well at least dreamworks hopes so..

i've seen the first episode of The Apprentice and its actually pretty good.. Trump doesn't make a bad host.. i'm gonna watch the rest as soon as i find the time, cuz my brother has been begging me to see it so he can talk about it with me.. Sounds like a cool premise and all.. i wouldn't mind the $250k yearly paycheck.. but i dont know if i'd really wanna work for trump... if it were spielberg or Lucas.. that's a different story.. hehe.. hhhmm.. now that's an idea...

Saw American Idol last night.. technically we're 3 weeks behind, but still its highly entertaining.. I'm rooting for George Huff.. cuz i dont know if ya'll are aware of it.. My boy George got cut from the first batch of 32, then just got thrown in as an after thought when the original choice, Donnie Williams, got a DUI on his record.. he then lost to Jasmine Trias during the eliminations of his batch, and got thrown into the top 12 as Simon's choice during the Wild Card round.. talk about resiliency, huh? The man has gotten better every week.. i dont think he's had a weak performance yet..

John Peter Lewis has seemed to have stagnated in terms of growth, which is sad cuz i wanted him to do well.. John Stevens hasn't had a good performance since his kick ass rendition of "King of the Road".. but even then he forgot the lyrics.. among the girls, every week i remain in awe of Fantasia.. i think its already unfair that she's in this competition.. she doesn't need this contest to get a recording deal.. and for those who are sad Camille got booted out.. no need to fret.. she's reportedly gonna get a record deal from Babyface..

if William Hung can get a record deal, why can't she, right?
When the Cat is Away..

You'd think that as soon as my boss left for the states, the office would be three whole weeks of partying.. dancing on the tables.. swinging from the chandeliers.. sadly, since he left me in charge, work has been ten trillion times more stressful than it usually is.. apparently "in charge" is sanskrit for, " if anything screws up, its your fault!!"

So Basically i'm in charge of two shows and two concerts and one fashion show for the next three weeks..

i'm trying to look at it optimistically.. if ya really think about it.. this is gonna be fun!
"if it helps you sleep at night.. keep telling yourself that", the voice in my says..

My boss Mr. M is in the states with his family.. Direk is in Italy for a filmfest.. so basically we're orphans.. anyways..

WARNING: FREE PLUG ALERT

Before i go any further, i'd just like to say that We're having a show with Maui Taylor at Classmates at Quezon Ave. on May 5, then a show for Maricar De Mesa on May 26 at Air Force One.. ok i know what you're thinking.. "Classmates? Air Force One? aren't those places-" ok stop right there.. hehe.. the places are actually classy.. and yes, most probably a little hanky panky goes on behind closed doors.. but i dont judge.. hehe.. i'm there to make sure the show run as smoothly as possible, make sure our talent is well taken care of, then its done, i get paid, everyone is happy..

The concerts are still a long time away so i'm just trafficking the pre-prod.. so its not all that difficult yet.. the fashion show is getting on my nerves though.. its actually an underwear show for men on May 21.. this is for Dickies at Ratsky's Morato.. they got Troy Montero to Launch their underwear Line, and he happens to be one of our talents, so we managed to get the account to stage the show as well.. and as you probably figured out, i'm not too excited about it.. hehe..

so that's why i haven't been able to post for the past week.. got my hands really full at the moment..

Classmates.. Air Force.. i know.. its a tough job, but someone's gotta do it :)

Catching Up

Ok so like i've said, things have completely changed since i last logged on... the most glaring changes would be, I found a great steady job, and i'm no longer with baby.. yeah.. i know.. it was hard for me to believe as well.. but i guess all good things must come to an end, right?

Anyways, work has been my life.. i started working with Direk again, but my main boss right now would be Mr. M. i'm no longer on track to be a Film Director.. sadly, my career path has seemed to be swayed to the producing side of entertainment.. i'm not as passionate about it, but the pay is not bad, so i just roll with the punches..

When i started work, things were really difficult.. basically i was the only employee of the company.. since everyone else would be hired on a freelance basis per project..
My first project was a VCD.. we came up with a sexy dramatic anthology series.. i handled the editing.. and well.. pretty much everything for it to get released.. we got the first edition out in the market, now we're waiting to see if.. with piracy and all.. a second edition would be feasible..

in the meantime, other projects kept me busy.. we did a whole bunch of concerts, including a series of shows in a famous.. well.. " Gentlemen's Club" hehe.. though i must admit working with beautiful women has its perks, the fact of the matter is, once you get started with the actual work, all that gets thrown out the window..

being unemployed for six months taught me the value of a paying job. this is my first job where i would be paid on a regular monthly basis, and you know what? i love it.. the feeling of security is a great thing.. knowing you have a little something coming in soon is very comforting..

The tragic thing about this, is that it took its toll on my personal life.. when u work in production, and under the employ of high caliber players in the entertainment biz, it takes alot out of you. it becomes your life. It wasn't fair to baby that i would keep her waiting when i would promise i would be there for her at a certain time, and well.. long story short, i couldn't give her the time she wanted or deserved..

Anyways.. on a lighter note.. i'm glad to be blogging again.. i truly missed it.. and this time, i promise, i'm here to stay..

The Sanity Lives On..

After a brief hiatus, i thought it was time to re-open the road in my life that was once called, " Sanity Lane".. Though much has changed since i last walked down this road.. As a person, i still pretty much remain the same..

i wont be able to add to this blog as much as i used to.. (7 posts in one day hehe).. but even with so much going on in my life right now, i'm still in search of an outlet for my deep dark thoughts.. thus, the lure putting up another blog was just too strong to resist..

The only thing i intend to do with this blog is say whatever's going through my mind when i wanna say it.. uncensored.. of course with the usual jokes that goes along with me being me..

Thank you to Anya and Kookaii for helping me set up the blog again.. thanks to Chuck to for joining the Blog Bandwagon, adding to my excitement to get back into the game..

just like before when i started with the first blog, this will be a work in progress.. so i'll add and subtract as i go along.. i kinda dont like the picture of the boy with the feather.. so i'm guessing i shouldn't have chosen a template called "A boy with his Feather"..

Anyways.. This is the start of a new beginning for me.. but guess what?

i'm back.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Sanity Lane is once again, Open for business.
